What aftercare & maintenance is in place for my vehicle?
We totally understand the importance of these two subjects and can be something that if left down to purely you as the customer, this can become quite stressful. After investing in your vehicle with the initial service with us, we will also give you the peace of mind with various aftercare options that are bespoke to each customer. This will ensure that you correctly maintain your vehicles PPF, ceramic coatings and paintwork going forward.
Ceramic Coating Aftercare
The next step after having treated your vehicle to a ceramic coating is knowing how to keep it performing and looking fantastic for years to come. We achieve this by following a specific wash process that removes all contaminants from the vehicle surface every wash to allow maximum performance of the protection applied. We have a few options below for you to choose from below to help you achieve this.
All of our packages will include a handover pack which includes the following for your information. You will receive a full vehicle paint depth report which may indicate certain areas of body shop work that has been carried out before or even previous corrections that have reduced the depth or increase in your paint layers.
We will also provide you with any Titan Warranty information if you have chosen a ceramic coating that covers the Infinite Warranty programme that you can register online and download the T&C’s. Along with the Titan information you will also receive a maintenance guide that will give you lots of tips, tricks and processes to involve in your wash process if self maintenance is your preferred choice.
Paint Protection Film Aftercare
The most important stage of your Paint Protection Film aftercare is your PPF health check.
We invite all PPF clients back for a PPF Health Check to ensure your film has fully dried out correctly and the film has not lifted.
To ensure the 10 year warranty is covered, it is your responsibility to make sure the PPF is not mishandled. This is why we offer 3 maintenance options that will maintain the PPF safely.
Option One
The most common and safest option is to join our maintenance scheme. The maintenance scheme is where we arrange a recurring date that you can drop your vehicle off to us up to every 4 weeks and our team will follow a thorough safe wash process. Ceramic coatings are checked regularly and topped up for the duration of their durability making sure the performance is maximised. You can relax knowing that your vehicle is in safe hands and will remain in excellent condition all year round without the worry of affecting the finish or protection yourself.
Option Two
Your second option is to learn how to maintain your vehicle yourself. We can provide maintenance training where we will teach you the entire wash process and provide you with a list of products and accessories you will need to complete the wash process correctly. The maintenance training can take up to 4 hours and costs £200 inc VAT. You would also need to factor in the costs involved for a maintenance set up such as products and equipment. Additionally to this we will provide you with a step by step process sent to you via email or a printed copy for you to refer back to from your training.
Option Three
The third and final option for aftercare from DCD if the above two options are not suitable for you. We can provide a written step by step and a list of products and equipment we recommend to purchase and can supply to you. We can also provide you with links from youtube to watch and learn the process yourself. This guidance is very limited but we use it as a last resort to try and give our clients some form of aftercare along with the GYEON maintenance guide and warranty information if your specific coating is warrantied.
How to join the aftercare & maintenance club.
The three options above and information provided on aftercare are only eligible for customers who choose one of our packages available on the website such as paint correction, ceramic coatings, PPF & Deep clean packages. The reason for this is we have to get your vehicle to a certain standard before we can continue maintenance so we don’t just provide these services without meeting the correct criteria.
