Our Story.
Diamond Cut Detailing was founded in 2018 with one man, his van & a passion for the automotive culture. For the first 6 months, DCD was only mobile and pushed the services via social media whilst building a client base & brand. Over the last 5 years, we have transformed our unit based in Marsh Barton & created two high-end & unique state-of-the-art facilities to carry out all types of car care services.
Lewis, the owner & founder of DCD, had a vision to create something truly special & has worked tirelessly to build the brand to where it is today. Since cleaning cars from a very young age with a bucket & sponge we have now been accredited by some of the best brands in the world to offer the most advanced full surface protection available on the market.
Notably, we are the only detailing company in Exeter that has been accredited by XPEL, world industry leaders in paint protection film. We are also the only detailing business in Exeter that has been accredited by Titan who is one of the finest coating manufacturers in the world providing us with some of our elite protective options such as our paintwork & full surface coatings for our clients.
Our service is known for providing a superior, stress free and exceptional experience for all of our customers and always exceeding expectations with our attention to detail. Packages range from valeting options to 360 degree surface protection, paint protection film, wrapping & window tinting. DCD can do it all!

Detailing Facility
Unit 1 is our dedicated Detailing Studio, purpose-built to deliver precision paint correction, enhancement details, ceramic coatings and high-end valeting services. Designed with specialist lighting, controlled working conditions and a clean, refined environment, this space allows us to inspect and perfect every surface of your vehicle to the highest possible standard. From multi-stage machine polishing to full surface protection packages, Unit 1 is where craftsmanship meets meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every vehicle leaves with exceptional clarity, gloss and protection.
Paint protection & Wrapping Facility
Unit 2 is our specialist Paint Protection Film and Vehicle Wrapping facility, engineered specifically for precision film installation. This dedicated space provides the controlled environment required for flawless PPF application and full vehicle colour transformations. As Exeter’s only XPEL accredited installer, this is where we carry out our self-healing protection film installs, custom wrap projects and advanced surface protection systems. Every panel is carefully prepared, measured and installed with absolute precision to ensure seamless coverage, durability and a factory-level finish.
